What Youll Do
Oversee daily operations of the Sterile Processing Department ensuring timely accurate and compliant processing of instruments and equipment.
Lead train and mentor a skilled team of sterile processing technicians fostering a culture of safety teamwork and continuous improvement.
Maintain quality control and sterilization records ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
Collaborate with surgical services and materials management to anticipate and plan for upcoming procedures and special equipment needs.
Support the turnover of same-day surgery rooms and maintain a clean organized and efficient work environment.
Participate in department scheduling inventory management and performance improvement initiatives.
What You Bring
Minimum of two (2) years experience in sterile processing with solid knowledge in decontamination assembly and sterilization required.
Certification through HSPA (IAHCSMM) or CBSPD or ability to obtain within 18 months of hire.
Familiarity with endoscopic procedures and scope reprocessing preferred.
Current CPR Certification preferred.
Strong leadership organization and communication skills with a commitment to quality and teamwork.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn new systems as needed.

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
