K2 is seeking RNs/LPNs/Paramedics for part-time PRN support our clinic in The Villages FL. The PRNs will promote Good Clinical Practice while supporting in a variety of responsibilities for various clinical trials.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the insertion and maintenance of the IV line as well as the care of the patient receiving the therapy
• Establish IV access
• Administer investigation product
• Monitor patient ensure patient safety
• Support all nurse functions of the Infusion suite including being readily available to address patient concerns and needs during their stay
• Assist PI and Clinical Research Coordinators in trial related procedures such as lumber punctures lab collections EKGs and more
• Assess patients tolerance to IP ensuring the absence of infusion reactions
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner
• Adhere to Good Clinical Practices (GCP)
• Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid and unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse (RN) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Paramedic in the state of Florida.
• Demonstrated experience in a clinical setting with a strong preference for experience in clinical research or a related field.
