What Were Looking For:

Were searching for someone with strong culinary chops a passion for food service and a dedication to delivering high-quality meals in a healthcare setting. Youll be working with a team that values safety nutrition and hospitalityand were looking for someone who thrives under pressure while keeping their cool.

What you will be doing:

In this role youll be at the heart of our kitchencrafting meals with care ensuring safety and quality and bringing positive energy to every shift. Heres a taste of what your day might look like:

Prepare delicious nutritious meals on schedule and according to recipe and dietary guidelines.
Follow all state and regulatory standards (HACCP sanitation safetyyou name it!).
Handle multiple menu items with ease speed and care.
Support inventory management and communicate procurement needs.
Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance through routine daily cleaning responsibilities.
Contribute to a positive respectful team environmentand have fun doing it!

Key Qualifications:

Has 3 years of experience in a health care or food service setting (preferred)
Is proficient with knife skills and kitchen equipment
Can follow recipes production sheets and both verbal and written instructions
Understands or is eager to learn about patient diets
Holds a ServSafe or food handler certificationor is willing to obtain one within 6 months of hire
Is highly organized detail-oriented and a motivated self-starter
Works well both independently and as part of a team
Communicates clearly and professionally with teammates and other departments
Brings a positive attitude strong work ethic and a willingness to learn

Schedule: Weekend availability preferred.

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
