How youll make an impact
Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business goals
Lead negotiations and manage supplier agreements with top-tier contractors
Evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement
Manage contract amendments and ensure alignment with local needs
Identify and mitigate contractual risks across projects
Support regional and global sourcing initiatives with key stakeholders
Initiate and track purchase orders ensuring timely delivery and compliance
Contribute to budget planning and performance target achievement
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines
Your background
5 years of experience in E&C procurement and contract negotiation (210 MUSD range)
Strong understanding of turnkey contractual frameworks and risk management
Familiarity with category management tools (SWOT Kraljic Matrix etc.)
Technical knowledge of E&C in the power sector
Proficiency in procurement and quality methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma)
Skilled in MS tools including Excel PowerPoint SharePoint and Power BI
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
