Step beyond the classroom and apply your technical knowledge in the real world. Verdantas is seeking a driven Environmental Scientist Intern for Summer 2026 at our Middletown CT location.
Assisting with site visits
Observe and assist in simple soil groundwater or soil vapor sampling projects
Researching collecting and entering data
Assisting with preparing photo documents
Playing a key role in delivering an above-and-beyond experience for our clients
Currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in Environmental Sciences Engineering or a related field
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
Ability to work individually and in a team environment
Problem-solving skills and the ability to independently seek answers to questions
Must be able to write effectively and articulate outcomes to clients and team members
Valid drivers license
A positive attitude and desire to learn
Relevant internship co-op and/or classwork experience
Experience in ArcMap/ArcGIS
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
Salary Range:
20.00 - 22.00
