PRIMARY FUNCTIONProvide accounting payroll and financial support to ensure accurate processing of fiscal transactions timely reporting and compliance with Ki Charters board policies and state financial guidelines. Assist the CFO in maintaining precise and transparent fiscal records payroll documentation and reconciliations consistent with TEAs Financial Accountability System Resource Guide (FASRG).DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAccounts Payable / Receivable Process payroll invoices purchase orders and payments in accordance with Ki Charters fiscal policy. Verify and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly. Maintain accurate documentation of transactions for audit and reporting and Employee Compensation Prepare and process semi-monthly payroll for all employees in coordination with HR and CFO. Review and verify timekeeping data salary changes supplemental pay and leave adjustments. Maintain payroll records ensuring compliance with TEA and state requirements. Process TRS contributions health insurance deductions and other benefit-related withholdings accurately and on time. Prepare and submit required payroll-related reports (TRS IRS Form 941 TWC W-2 and 1099 filings). Reconcile payroll and benefits accounts monthly and assist in resolving and Reconciliation Record and reconcile monthly revenue and expense accounts. Assist with bank reconciliations and general ledger entries. Support grant and fund accounting by tracking allowable expenditures and revenue and Compliance Assist in preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial reports. Support the CFO with data collection for PEIMS budget submissions and audit documentation. Ensure compliance with applicable laws board policy and internal fiscal Support Maintain organized digital and physical files for all fiscal records. Assist in coordination with external auditors and TEA reviewers. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
