Medical Surgical (Med Surge) Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical Unit needed in Gainesville FL.

Salary and Benefits

Hourly Rate- $30.00 - $43.20

Days (Rotating Weekends)
Nights (Rotating Weekends)
Shift Differential $4.25 nights/ $3.00 for weekends

Sign-on Bonus $15000 for days / $25000 for nights (paid over 2 years)

Responsibilities

Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patients health or situation.
Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team.
Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues.
Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation.
Act as an advocate for patient safety.
Ensure effective care and use of time supplies and equipment.
Educate patients regarding their medications procedures and treatments providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay.

Requirements

1 year of acute care RN experience
- Open to LTAC RN experience.
Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
Bachelors Degree or Registered Nurse Diploma.
Florida RN license required or appropriate compact licensure.
- If compact license held active Florida RN license required within 90 days of hire
