Are you an ambitious and detail-orientated Mechanical Design Engineer who is seeking a new challenge If you are a determined Mechanical Engineer with excellent design skills and time management who possesses a love for innovation and seeing through designs from conceptualisation through to creation we would love to get in touch with you!

Duties & Responsibilities

Job Description:

Develop detailed 2D designs and transform them into detailed 3D models for mechanical systems and components ensuring functionality efficiency and compliance with specifications
Manage all phases of mechanical projects including manufacturing assembly and on-site installation for clients
Conduct concept and design reviews

Skills and Experience

3D CAD experience
Minimum 3 years of post-graduate experience
Excellent task and time management skills
Experience in automotive engineering development or similar preferred.
Good written and verbal communication skills (English and Afrikaans)
Computer literate mainly with Microsoft Office and relevant Design Software (SolidWorks AutoCAD Autodesk Inventor)

Qualifications

B Eng Degree or B Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering
