Were seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with 34 years of Tier 2 support experience to join our dynamic IT operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft 365 (non-negotiable) as well as hands-on experience with AWS Azure and a range of enterprise infrastructure technologies. Youll play a key role in maintaining supporting and optimizing our IT systems to ensure maximum uptime performance and reliability across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Tier 2 systems support for enterprise infrastructure.
Administer and manage Microsoft 365 environments.
Maintain and support Windows Server infrastructure.
Configure and optimize VMware virtual environments.
Manage and support Dell storage and backup solutions.
Administer Cisco UCS servers and infrastructure.
Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routing and switching.
Support Mimecast email security and archiving solutions.
Assist with cloud infrastructure management across AWS and Azure.
Monitor system health performance and capacity.
Participate in infrastructure upgrades migrations and projects.
Document system configurations standard procedures and troubleshooting processes.
Skills & Experience
34 years of experience in Systems Engineering or IT Infrastructure Support.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 (essential).
Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud environments.
Solid understanding of Windows Server administration.
Experience with VMware virtualization platforms.
Proficiency with Dell storage and backup technologies.
Knowledge of Cisco UCS routing and switching.
Familiarity with Mimecast email security solutions.
Excellent troubleshooting analytical and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
Matric and relevant industry certifications (e.g. Microsoft AWS Cisco VMware).
Experience supporting enterprise IT environments.
Exposure to ITIL practices and service management tools.
