The Opportunity:
The Manager is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of financial audits performance audits and attestation engagements. This includes overseeing the development of detailed work plans monitoring the progress of the audit drafting reports providing outstanding service to the client and maintaining constant communication with their team. Managers are integrally involved in informing clients of the project status and submitting the deliverables.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide guidancetraining andevaluations of and share knowledge with team members.
Review working papers financialstatements and reports for accuracy completeness compliance and detail.
Ensure that engagements arecompleted within the specifieddeadline within budget andin accordance withthe firms qualitycontrol and documentation standards.
Monitorengagementprogressand proactivelyresolve as needed accounting auditing reporting and client relationship challenges.
Work with the team and the client to create plans foraccomplishingengagementobjectivesand a strategy thatcomplies withprofessional standards and addresses the risks inherent in the engagement.
Brief the engagement team on the clients environment and industry trends.
Maintain relationships with client management to manage expectations of service including work products timing and deliverables.
Demonstrate excellent project management skills inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement of team members.
Leveragecurrentandemergingtechnologies analytics and firm toolsto enhanceaudit qualityand efficiency.
Participate in internal firm initiatives andassistin creating proposals and other new business development efforts.
Applicantmusthave:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting Business or related field
Active CPAlicense
5years of relevant experience including 1years at the manager level
2 yearsFederal Financial Statement Audit experience
Experience applyingGAO FAM and GAGAS.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work under tightdeadlinesin a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Stronganalytical critical-thinking and problem-solvingabilities with keen attention to detail and accuracy.

Willingnessand abilitytotravel domestically up to 25%

Clearance:

Salary
Salary at Williams Adley is determined by various factors including but not limited to the individuals particular combination of education knowledge skills competencies experience contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is between $110000 and $135000 based on experience skills and certifications. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Williams Adleys total compensation package for employees.
Work Model
Williams Adleyfollows employees work remotely the majority of the certain client engagements may require on-site workeither part-time or full-timedepending on contract requirements. Applicants should be comfortable working in both remote and client-site environments as needed.
