QA engineer/testing

Your Role and Responsibilities

Design build and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools to enhance coverage reliability and efficiency.

Plan execute and oversee manual exploratory and regression testing for new product features and releases.

Review system specifications and technical documentation to ensure clear testability and provide actionable feedback to development teams.

Identify document and manage defects throughout their lifecycle driving continuous improvements in product quality.

Develop and maintain CI/CD-integrated testing pipelines embedding automated tests into deployment workflows.

Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure quality is built into every phase of development.

Participate in code and test plan reviews offering insights to strengthen testing coverage and standards.

Contribute to the definition and implementation of QA processes and best practices across engineering teams.

Research evaluate and recommend testing tools or practices that enhance scalability speed and efficiency of QA operations.

Experience and Qualifications

25 years of hands-on experience in software testing test automation or software engineering.

Proficiency in at least one programming language such as TypeScript JavaScript Python or Ruby.

Practical experience with test automation frameworks like Playwright Selenium Capybara or RSpec.

Strong understanding of testing methodologies including unit integration and end-to-end testing.

Proven experience designing and executing test plans and test casesboth automated and manual.

Familiarity with CI/CD environments and integrating automated tests into continuous delivery pipelines.

Comfortable working independently in dynamic or ambiguous settings with a proactive results-driven mindset.

Excellent communication problem-solving and debugging abilities.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

Experience testing multilingual or mobile applications.

Familiarity with AWS monitoring tools such as Datadog or performance testing frameworks.

Exposure to backend systems APIs or infrastructure testing.

Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments or fast-paced startup teams.
