This individual is proactive in anticipating data needs maintains rigorous standards for data quality and security and is committed to continuous learning as new technologies and reporting requirements degree in a related field Masters in effective approaches for educational and administrative technical background in the design and application of technology systems system integration and administrative software used in a public school with Aspen Student Information System and Canvas Learning Management System is highly understanding of website technology and database systems is highly to work well independently as well as collaboratively in a team to the above qualifications may be considered as deemed appropriate and RESPONSIBILITIESResponsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Database Management and OversightControl the creation administration maintenance and use of databases to store and retrieve district data and the implementation and management of all educational and administrative database programs and the accuracy quality and validity of data contained in all district and assist staff in data entry to maintain accurate district databases to make data accessible and useful to teachers administrators and with stakeholders and local and state administrators to outline and define data database modifications and provide technical support for data and implement procedures to improve data processing distribution flow collection and and implement a culture of data quality across the Development and ReportingProvide professional development to end users on data quality student information systems assessment databases and other reporting systems used by the District and the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE).Prepare all District state and federal technology and data current with changes and developments in educational technology and database Integration and CollaborationImplement cost-efficient solutions for data transfer including importing and exporting student data between Aspen and other systems (Follett Fastbridge Panorama etc.).Represent the District at regional and statewide meetings; serve as a liaison with educational private sector and other collaboration with the Director of Technology or designee collect and analyze student and educator data to inform district programming instruction and professional as the District contact for database support and coordinate with software vendors as training sessions to develop and maintain expertise in all areas of the Student Information System and other technology department in cross-training with IT Department and End-User SupportProvide support for the Districts 1:1 technology and resolve basic hardware and software faculty professional and clerical staff with technology buildings with operating and maintaining hardware and software as and support technology integration new instructional tools and digital media across the effectively and professionally with all members of the school and execute a variety of complex tasks with minimal all other duties as assigned by the Director of OF EMPLOYMENTFull-time 12-month position.
