Were currently seeking a dynamic People & Culture Officer specialising in Recruitment and Employee Life Cycle coordination to join our team and help shape the experience of our most valuable asset our people.

About the Role

As the first point of contact for HR-related matters youll play a pivotal role in enhancing the employee life cycle growth engagement and retention. Youll lead initiatives that support learning development and performance and ensure our people practices remain compliant responsive and strategically aligned to our goals.

This is a key role that spans across operational HR support recruitment engagement and compliance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment

  • Collaborate with managers to facilitate a successful recruitment process from requisition to onboarding
  • Conduct recruitment activities including screening phone and in-person interviews
  • Review and update role descriptions ensuring correct role classifications in accordance with relevant Awards

Support for People and Culture

  • Serve as first point of contact for HR matters and maintaining records in HRIS (Employment Hero)
  • Provide advice in line with policies and procedures liaising with managers on potential outcomes
  • Monitor and interpret legislation regulations and agreements to ensure compliance

Culture & Wellbeing

  • Keep employees informed on People & Culture matters news and events
  • Assist with innovative strategies to improving workplace culture and staff engagement
  • Facilitate employee surveys and analyse feedback to drive continuous improvement

What Youll Bring

  • 3 years experience in HR with a focus on recruitment and engagement
  • Knowledge of HR legislation and practices (Fair Work Act NES etc.)
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (Employment Hero experience advantageous)
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized proactive and able to manage competing priorities
