Concrete Dam Engineer (m/f/d)

Their multidisciplinary team combines comprehensive expertise with local practice to deliver efficient seamless solutions for complex water resource projects.

What you can achieve with us:

Conduct stability and stress analyses to ensure structural integrity of concrete dams including Gravity RCC and Arch dams
Develop detailed 2D and 3D finite element models (FEM) for dam design
Perform thermal analysis and other specialized engineering assessments
Prepare comprehensive design drawings and technical specifications
Ensure all designs comply with international standards and project requirements
Support projects from feasibility studies through to detailed design phases

What convinces us:

Masters degree in Civil Engineering
5 to 10 years of related professional experience ideally including several years abroad
Strong proficiency in structural and geotechnical analysis including FEM software (e.g. ANSYS Abaqus Plaxis)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and solve complex structural challenges
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and ICOLD guidelines
Effective communication skills both written and verbal with a collaborative and proactive mindset
Willingness to travel for site visits and project meetings as required
