Concrete Dam Engineer(m/f/d)
What you can achieve with us:
- Conduct stability and stress analyses to ensure structural integrity of concrete dams including Gravity RCC and Arch dams
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D finite element models (FEM) for dam design
- Perform thermal analysis and other specialized engineering assessments
- Prepare comprehensive design drawings and technical specifications
- Ensure all designs comply with international standards and project requirements
- Support projects from feasibility studies through to detailed design phases
What convinces us:
- Masters degree in Civil Engineering
- 5 to 10 years of related professional experience ideally including several years abroad
- Strong proficiency in structural and geotechnical analysis including FEM software (e.g. ANSYS Abaqus Plaxis)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and solve complex structural challenges
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and ICOLD guidelines
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal with a collaborative and proactive mindset
- Willingness to travel for site visits and project meetings as required
