This position is in the Data Stewardship organization supporting CI Upstream content. Our team values collaboration with adjacent teams in Data Operations Data Partnership Quality and the CI business leadership fostering innovation and maintaining a strong commitment to quality and customer success. We work together to ensure that our data management processes not only meet internal standards but also enhance the overall experience for our clients.
Responsibilities and Impact:
Collaborate with Data Operations to enhance data collection automation extraction and validation processes using internal tools.
Communicate product requirements effectively to stakeholder groups including technical teams and product management.
Serve as a subject matter expert in relevant data sets to support decision-making and strategy.
Act as second-level support for complex data issues ensuring timely resolution and support.
Collaborate with Commercial teams to support Request for Proposals (RFPs) and other client-facing initiatives.
Participate in LEAN initiatives and work within a SAFe Agile environment contributing to project design and execution.
What Were Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
BS in related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
Outstanding customer focus and strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in Business Analytics software including Power BI Tableau and Spotfire along with basic SQL query skills.
Previous managerial experience is preferred.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with data governance and quality management practices.
Familiarity with advanced data management tools and methodologies.
Strong presentation skills and experience in stakeholder management.
Ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members.
