We have an opportunity for a Program Planner II to join our mission supporting the Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) Service Life Extension (SLE) team. Summary of Key Duties: In this role you will.
Be part of a team to plan and manage detailed schedule networks from design assembly test and into operations
Interface with Engineering Finance and Business Operations Supply Chain and Program Management while working with the entire planning team to translate authorized customer requirements into the performance measurement baseline
Develop and maintain compliant Integrated Master Schedules that accurately and comprehensively validate contractual scope workflow and resources required to execute the program
Work with cross-functional teams to drive progress and performance monitor changes and status and facilitate communication between stakeholders
Assist in negotiating handoffs between product areas regarding technical content and schedules as well as facilitating workaround planning as required
Serve as a liaison by maintaining publishing and presenting relevant planning and scheduling information and metrics to provide visibility to management
Our employees working in this level of position typically have 3-5 years of experience.
This position is contingent upon program contract award expected by February 2026
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications:
1-3 years of relevant professional experience in a planning or scheduling capacity (logistics event planning educational planning construction planning/management) or experience in an associated field (e.g. project controls finance etc)
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Awareness of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and practices including Cost/Schedule Integration Earned Value Metrics Performance Measurement/Reporting and Project Control and Forecasting
Must be a United States citizen and be able to obtain a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
Active Secret security clearance
Prefer 1-3 years of professional experience in aerospace/defense program planning or scheduling
Prior experience in a project management schedule networking tool such as Open Plan (preferred) Primavera Artemis MS Project or another comparable scheduling/planning tool
Experience applying Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and practices including Cost/Schedule Integration Earned Value Metrics Performance Measurement/Reporting and Project Control and Forecasting
Experience delivering leadership project briefings
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to work in a team environment
