St. Elizabeth Hospital located in Fort Morgan Coloradois a Level 3 Trauma Center and an American College of Cardiology Accredited Chest Pain Center serving northeastern Colorado. Providing care through-out the region St. Elizabeth Hospital provides cardiology maternal emergency surgical pediatrics and acute care inpatient services in addition to the multitude of subspecialists in our specialty clinic. At 50 beds St. Elizabeth is the regions referral center serving a wide span of northeastern Colorado. Since 1952 St. Elizabeth has been serving the community in Morgan County which is one of the most diverse counties in Colorado speaking more than 28 languages.

St. Elizabeth Hospital Emergency Department is state verified as a Level 3 trauma center with the ability to stabilize and keep 85% of traumas presenting to the hospital. Additionally as a Chest Pain Center the Emergency Department provides the highest level of care for chest pain patients and transfer patients to higher levels of care within our network as needed. Yearly volumes for the Emergency Department are around 7758 annually and admit nearly 800 patients to our inpatients setting each year. We look for candidates with strong teamwork collaboration flexibility and an attitude for doing what is needed for our patients.

As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will assume responsibility and accountability for:
- Facilitating communicating and collaborating with both the healthcare team and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical emotional and spiritual needs of the patient.
- Promote the optimal health well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
- Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care organizational mission and core values.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day qualified nursing candidates will need the following:
Education Requirements
- Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates preferred for experienced RNs
Experience Requirements
- One year RN Emergency Room experience
- Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
Licenses/Certification Requirements
- RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
- BLS ACLS through AHA
- ENPC or PALS
- NIHSS
- TNCC
Physical Requirements
- Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally and/or up to 20lbs frequently and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
Shift is: FT nights- 3 12 hour shifts per week- 7p-7:30am
