Title: Business Development Representative- Outbound

Position Overview

The Outbound Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a key role in driving new business growth by identifying engaging and qualifying potential customers through proactive outreach. This position is responsible for creating a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities for the Sales team by executing targeted outbound campaigns building relationships with decision-makers and articulating the value of our solutions.

This role is ideal for a high-energy goal-oriented professional who thrives on prospecting relationship-building and turning curiosity into opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify research and engage potential leads through cold calls email campaigns LinkedIn outreach and other prospecting tools.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand the prospects business pain points and potential fit for the companys solution.
  • Qualify leads against established criteria and schedule high-quality meetings or demos for Account Executives.
  • Maintain a consistent and structured cadence of outreach across assigned territories or verticals.
  • Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging campaign strategy and lead follow-up processes.
  • Track all activities and communications in the CRM () with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for outbound outreach qualified meetings and pipeline generation.
  • Stay current with product updates industry trends and competitor activity to effectively position the solution.
  • Represent the company professionally at trade shows virtual events and industry functions as required.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 13 years of experience in outbound sales lead generation or business development (preferably in SaaS or technology sales).
  • Strong communication skills (verbal written and listening).
  • Confidence and resilience in cold calling and handling objections.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM and prospecting tools such as HubSpot Salesforce LinkedIn Sales Navigator ZoomInfo or .
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a hunter mentality and results-driven mindset.
  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

  • Conversion rate from prospect to opportunity
  • Outreach activity levels (calls emails social touches)
  • CRM data quality and reporting accuracy
