The Opportunity:
Were looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) Institutional Sales to join our NEI team.
Reporting to the VP Institutional & Strategic Relations this role is responsible for supporting the development and management of existing Institutional relationships and opportunities. The BDM Institutional sales will develop opportunities to introduce NEI solutions to Institutional opportunities with a specific focus on Foundations Endowments Charitable organization and HNW family offices.

What your day looks like:
- Support the Sales requirements of new/existing Institutional relationships
- Ability to interact effectively with both the external customers and the internal Aviso/NEI organization
- Maintain and identify new relationships with the Institutional Consultants both directly and in conjunction with key Institutional Retirement channels
- Actively discover prospect and manage the needs of the opportunities to contribute NEI solutions to their success on an ongoing basis
- Maintain a high level of investment market awareness
- Partner with Institutional sales team to institute the Institutional National strategy
- Understanding of Responsible Investment foundations and ESG considerations linked to asset management solutions
- Work to have NEI Solutions added to Institutional DC Retirement platforms & solutions
- Develop an understanding of the Institutional competitive landscape and use this information to identify threats and opportunities
- Work with Director Institutional sales to support the activities needed day to day monthly and quarterly to develop new clients
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (Institutional Service Lead) to support the timely accurate and comprehensive updating of various databases and materials to support RFPs
- Document and ensure all sales activities are tracked in the firms CRM system
Requirements- Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business Administration or related field
- 3-5 years work experience strongly recommended in a sales environment preferably in Mutual Funds and strong knowledge of ESG landscape
- In-depth knowledge of investment products and knowledge of asset management and portfolio management
- Strong networking and presentation skills
- Self-starter with effective time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Able to incorporate sales strategies and a track record of executing strategies to grow market share
- Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset
