Job Summary
What you will do
- Support Verification & Validation (V&V) Efforts Assist with pre-V&V and V&V activities for Stryker Sports Medicines Enabling Technologies products including understanding the software product executing formal and informal tests and comparing results to expected outcomes.
- Manual Test Case Development Support the creation and updating of manual test cases (stretch goal).
- Automation Support Contribute to automation efforts by developing scripts for automated testing.
- Team Collaboration Work closely with internal teams to ensure testing aligns with product requirements and standards.
- Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate records of testing activities results and observations.
- Continuous Learning Quickly learn new tools technologies and processes relevant to testing and product development.
What you will need
Required qualifications:
- Enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering.
- General interest in software and digital technologies.
- Basic software development knowledge preferably in Python.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (German is a plus).
- High reliability attention to detail and the ability to consistently execute repetitive tasks with precision.
- Critical and analytical thinking with the ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Jira Squish and/or Git.
- Prior exposure to software testing or automation scripting is a plus.
- Proximity to Freiburg (role is primarily onsite 80100%).
