The Senior Manager Deal Desk is a key role in support of the growth of the Professional Services initiative. Professional Services is a combination of field services and device lifecycle management support for business clients. The Sr. Manager will be responsible for developing proposals and managing large client deals from discovery to contract completion. This role helps make sure the companys deals and contracts are profitable low-risk and fit the companys strategy. This person works with different teams to support sales and revenue goals.This role is hybrid which means you will work some days at a Best Buy location and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.What youll do- Set up and price complex deals and contracts considering profit margins discounts and terms in support of the sales team
- Create and manage a standard process for approving deals making sure they follow company rules and financial goals.
- Work with sales legal finance and other teams to review deals and get approvals.
- Assist sales teams with negotiations pricing and contract terms.
- Oversee contract drafting review and signing making sure everything is legal and compliant.
Basic qualifications- 8 or more years of experience managing direct reports
- 8 or more years of experience in sales operations finance or similar roles
- 8 or more years of experience leading cross-functional teams
- Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred qualifications- 4 or more years of experience with installation delivery or depot services
- Professional experience in retail services or tech
- Extensive knowledge in consumer electronics networking or similar technology
