About the Role
We are seeking a Small Business Project Coordinator to support the Defense Health Agencys Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) by coordinating program activities managing communications and ensuring timely execution of deliverables. This role requires strong organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders.
This is a hybrid remote position based in Falls Church VA that will require some onsite work and attending meetings at the customers location and other venues in that general geographical area. This position is contingent on contract award.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage OSBP outreach events speaking engagements and vendor meetings.
- Maintain and update OSBP website content and social media platforms.
- Prepare and assemble documentation for program engagements and leadership approvals.
- Support development of newsletters executive summaries and training materials.
- Track program performance metrics and assist in preparing monthly and quarterly reports.
- Manage SharePoint sites maintain records and ensure compliance with DHA standards.
- Assist with transition activities including documentation and staff training.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination or program support required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with small business program offices preferred.
- Experience supporting the federal government preferred ideally DHA.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust or equivalent DHA security clearance and customer approval.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future.
Education and Training
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Management Communications or related field.
Physical Requirements
- Candidates must reside within commuting distance of Falls Church VA.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. May need to lift 25 pounds regularly.
