About the Position

As a Teacher at St Hildas School you are responsible for creating an engaging and supportive learning environment that promotes academic achievement critical thinking and personal growth among students. This role involves developing and delivering curriculum-aligned instruction using data informed practices to assess student progress providing differentiated learning experiences that meet students at their current academic level and fostering positive relationships that encourage student success both academically socially and personally for each student.

1. Teaching Excellence

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging differentiated instruction that meets diverse learning needs
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and evidence-based teaching practices
  • Proven track record of achieving excellent academic outcomes
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience developing innovative unit and lesson plans aligned with the Australian Curriculum.

2. Understanding of Girls Education

  • Deep understanding of how girls learn and develop across different age groups
  • Ability to foster confidence resilience and leadership in female students
  • Knowledge of research-based approaches to girls education and empowerment

3. Professional Skills

  • Excellent classroom management and organisational abilities
  • Strong communication skills with students parents and colleagues

  • High level of ability to assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
