Job Summary
We are currently looking for a Cleaner for a residential property near Burquitlam station. This will be a full-time position. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the buildings common areas and ensuring a welcoming environment for residents.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cleaning of residential and commercial properties
- Replenish supplies such as soaps paper towels and toilet paper
- Cleaning tasks such as dusting mopping sweeping waxing floors and vacuuming
- Cleaning spills broken glass and other messes up as quickly as possible
- Coordinating duties with other cleaners
- Performing maintenance activities related to cleaning such as ensuring bathrooms are sanitary
- Ordering new cleaning supplies as needed
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain cleanliness of common and shared areas such as lobbies elevators mail rooms and amenity spaces
- Clean glass doors windows and ledges inside and out within reach
- Organize recycling and ensure all waste is properly sorted and disposed of
- Report any maintenance issues damages or suspicious activity to the building manager
- Assist with emergency cleaning requests (e.g. spills or other urgent situations)
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Cleaning experience is an asset
- Reliable and a good communicator
- Excellent time management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication in English
- Must be proactive and be able to work independently with minimal supervision

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Working hours: 8am - 4pm
- Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: $18 per hour
Start Date: November 18
