Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse LTAC ICU
Location: Columbia SC 29201
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights 312-Hour 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Compensation: $2178 Weekly Gross
Position Overview
The Registered Nurse for the Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) Intensive Care Unit (ICU) will provide high-acuity nursing care to patients requiring extended hospital-level treatment. The role involves complex clinical judgment continuous patient monitoring and coordination with a multidisciplinary care team.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver skilled nursing care to patients with long-term critical conditions requiring ICU-level support.
Assess patient status develop individualized nursing care plans and adjust treatment based on patient response.
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias as necessary.
Perform and document patient observations medication administration and clinical procedures according to established protocols.
Collaborate with physicians respiratory therapists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Provide compassionate communication and support to patients and families.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience in ICU LTAC ICU or similar high-acuity setting.
Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
Active State RN License (or compact license accepted if applicable).
Required Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
NIHSS (Stroke Certification)
Preferred Qualifications
Prior LTAC experience strongly preferred.
Strong critical thinking assessment and care coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative clinical team.
