We arelooking for:
OphthalmologyVeterinary TechnicianAssistant
Initial hiring range starts between $15.50 to $24.50/hr based on skillset and experience.
TheOphthalmologyteamis unique in that itspecializes inappointment-based patient careas well as assisting andpreparing forsurgeries. Ophthalmology is afast-pacedservice with a high caseload alternatingbetweenappointment and surgery days.You couldassistwith tonometry corneal stains Schirmer tear testing as well as TPRs and chemical ablations.

Whatyoulldo:
  • Ensure patients receive quality care
  • Ensure documentation isaccurateand complete
  • Oversight/care for stable patients
  • Assist Veterinary Technicians with patient restraint
  • Manage the restocking of supplies for clinical teams
  • Maintain clean treatment areas and manage laundry needs of department
Who you are:

  • Excellent client service skills and phone etiquette
  • Ability to multi-task self-motivated and strongattention to detail
  • Work successfully as a team member and autonomously
  • Sense of urgency Critical thinking skills
  • Effective patient restraint
  • Flexibility with work hours and able to workadditionalhours when necessary
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior veterinary experience
