DescriptionDevelops implements and monitors local or company environmental occupational health and safety (EHS) programs and policies to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and policies. Develops and conducts EHS training providing guidance and consultation on topics such as emergency response hazardous material handling industrial hygiene life safety health / wellness ergonomics and environmental compliance. Recommends and / or implements corrective actions to eliminate or mitigate hazards. Promotes awareness of EHS culture and programs through communication and collaborative team interaction.
ResponsibilitiesPerforms a wide range of EHS activities with limited guidance.Leverages practical understanding of EHS and safe operating standards to review new engineering / product development facilities.Assists with review / improvement of facility operations and project development from an EHS perspective.Conducts staff / management EHS briefings as needed.Provides management and site teams with EHS metrics.Consults and advises management of environmental health and safety issues.Prepares accurate and up-to-date information used in incident analysis.Uses root cause analysis to determine incident trends and unsafe activities as well as provide documentation for regulatory agencies.Assists in the development management and implementation of EHS programs for the site(s) including but not limited to emergency preparedness contractor safety environmental and operational safety.QualificationsRequired Qualifications
Diploma or equivalent work experience required.Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Environmental Health and Safety.Good business English skills (Written and spoken). Required Experience:
