Position Purpose

Provides strategic and operational leadership in the direction planning development and implementation of all activities related to the Registrars Office and Infoservice with the goal of delivering efficient services tailored to the needs of the university community and external clients across all academic levels.

In this role your responsibilities will include:

  • Plans and develops a strategic approach by establishing tactical and operational efficiency within areas of responsibility aligned with institutional strategic directions.

  • Identifies and analyzes best practices in relevant fields and implements new service delivery models to enhance service quality and efficiency.

  • Leads the management of large-scale projects ensuring cohesion among stakeholders (IT business partners faculties vendors etc.) and successful execution within defined objectives timelines and budgets.

  • Oversees the annual review process of administrative ancillary and supplementary fees ensuring compliance with the Ministrys Fee Framework and alignment with sound governance practices.

  • Ensures the development and effective management of various IT systems required for the smooth operation of activities under their responsibility supporting both operational and strategic goals of the Registrars Office.

  • Maintains a culture of continuous improvement across all sectors under their leadership promoting a service-oriented approach that prioritizes students faculties and university services.

  • Implements strategies (reading research webinars training etc.) to stay informed of trends and innovations relevant to their areas of responsibility.

  • Manages human material and financial resources of the administrative units under their responsibility to enable strategic execution goal achievement and adherence to allocated resources.

  • Develops and maintains relationships with other services and faculties to foster collaboration across the university ensuring process synergy and high-quality client service.

  • Acts as a subject matter expert in interpreting and applying regulations and procedures related to their areas of responsibility.

What you will bring:

  • Undergraduate degree in management administration or other relevant fields.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role with increasing responsibilities.

  • At least 5 years of experience in human resources management team leadership and mobilization conflict resolution negotiation and project management.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in change management.

  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills in both official languages.

  • Excellent analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative) synthesis and ability to solve complex problems.

  • Strategic thinking and ability to translate strategic directions into major operational initiatives across the university.

  • Strong interpersonal skills leveraging consultation analysis and feedback.

  • Excellent organizational time management multitasking abilities and capacity to meet tight deadlines.

  • Strong internal and external client service orientation.

  • Knowledge and experience in information technologies particularly in management systems and their strategic application.

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in strategic and operational planning analysis and problem-solving within a university setting (an asset).
