ASSISTANT DIRECTOR FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS (FP&A) Campus Services and Stewardships (CSS) leads the evolution of a high-impact finance function supporting a $4B capital plan and an operational portfolio of $270M; builds and modernizes a strategic FP&A capability; engages in hands-on analysis and execution; partners with CSS and Institute leadership to design data-driven planning processes deliver actionable insights and strengthen financial decision-making; leads budgeting forecasting and operational and performance reporting; develops KPIs and analytical tools; and builds a culture of continuous improvement transparency and financial rigor.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: Bachelors degree in finance accounting economics business or a related field; a minimum often years of progressively responsible experience in financial planning and analysis strategic finance or a related discipline; ability to design and implement integrated planning forecasting and performance measurement frameworks in complex multi-unit organizations; analyze and synthesize financial and operational data to deliver actionable insights; ability to balance long-term strategic thinking with hands-on analytical execution; and partner effectively with Institute and department leaders; advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with data visualization and analytics tools such as Tableau Power BI Cognos or SQL; working knowledge of financial and accounting principles; able to lead and develop staff; manage priorities and communicate complex analyses and recommendations clearly and persuasively; and a commitment to continuous improvement financial transparency and innovation. PREFERRED: Masters degree in business finance or a related field; experience building or modernizing FP&A functions; familiarity with higher education or other mission-driven organizational environments; and experience with fund accounting capital budgeting or long-range financial planning.
