Parts Manager Responsibilities:
Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
Work with parts counter people to locate any parts not in stock
Complete special order part requests
Communicate with customer on parts status
Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
Understand and follow federal state and local regulations applicable to industry
Parts Manager Requirements:
Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus
Ability to identify the problem quickly
Knowledge of automobiles
Effective analytical and communication skills
Strong reading computer and mathematics skills
Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
Minimum of 1 year in parts department
Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills
Positive friendly attitude
Experience with parts department management (preferred)
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Detail-oriented have a professional appearance and strong work ethic
