Maintenance Technician
Portland Regency Hotel & Spa Portland ME
Join the team at the Portland Regency Hotel & Spa a beautifully restored Historic Hotel of America located in the heart of Portlands Old Port District. Were looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to help maintain our landmark property and ensure a safe comfortable and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
Schedule: Full-Time (40 hrs/week)
On-Call: Rotating basis required
Pay: $22$27/hour (based on experience and skills)
License: Valid drivers license required
Full-Time benefits include Medical Dental Life and Short-Term Disability insurances Holidays and PTO. Part-time benefits include sick time. All employees receive: HHA Discounts Fitness Center use Uniform Parking and Employee Meal. 401(k) plan with a match after one year.
What Youll Do
- Perform general maintenance and repairs including painting plumbing electrical HVAC and basic carpentry.
- Complete preventative maintenance for guest rooms public spaces and equipment.
- Maintain hotel exterior areas and assist with snow removal and grounds upkeep.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Ensure all tools and work areas are kept clean organized and safe.
- Support additional maintenance needs at nearby ownership properties as assigned.
What Were Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1 year of related experience or training preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical maintenance tasks.
- Commitment to professionalism teamwork and safety standards.
