Salary range: $ 86815 up to 131281
Vacation: 20 days per year
Shift structure: Monday to Friday 7.25 hours per day

About the Role
The Project Manager Operations reports to the Manager Program Management Office (PMO). They are responsible for project and change management activities and will act as a strategic liaison for a cross-functional expansion team as CASA Mental Health expands its services provincially providing mental health services to more kids and families across Alberta.

In addition to project management this role will support their fellow employees by conducting change management activities on some key active projects that support CASAs operations.

The Project Manager Operations will:
  • Serve as project manager for CASAs Operational Expansion project which includes the program integration of Adolescent Day Program and CASA House.
  • Serve as project manager for other projects as needed based on organizational requests. The teams triage considers the entire teams capacity when assigning these roles.
  • Set up and attend recurring meetings with project sponsors to ensure space for continual communication and collaboration.
  • Facilitate or co-facilitate cross-departmental coalition project meetings consisting of subject matter experts and other CASA team members associated with assigned projects.
  • Ensure project timelines and deliverables are met within budget.
  • Identify internal and external resources required to complete projects.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documents including but not limited to charters work plans budgets communication plans and reporting tools.
  • Consult with CASAs Organizational Change Management Lead regularly for recommendations on change management approach required for each unique project.
  • Monitor project risks and apply risk and change management principles to minimize potential effects to the project.
  • Report project outcomes and risks to project sponsors the PMO and senior leadership as required.
  • Foster efficient and positive working relationships with all internal and external careholders by demonstrating CASAs values in all interactions.
  • Attend regular PMO meetings to align all project work and share knowledge.
  • Complete PMO reporting for senior leadership CASAs Board of Directors and the Government of Alberta as requested.
  • Act as the key contact for project careholders by building strong communication channels.
  • Valid Class 5 drivers licence and access to vehicle for travel between CASA sites as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors or masters degree in a related field (e.g. a health profession business administration).
  • Minimum eight years of experience managing complex projects in a service-based field.
  • Experience in a mental health or health-related field is an asset.
  • A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) is an asset.
  • Prosci Change Management certification is an asset.
