The Referral Transcriptionist enters and authorizes patient results from referral laboratories into the companys Apollo laboratory information system in an accurate and timely manner.

Location: Memphis TN 38134

Days and Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Full Time Benefit Eligible

In this role you will:

Enter and authorize patient results from Reference lab reports
Enter and update patient demographics information
Answer calls from clients and customers as needed
Call clients where there are questions regarding submitted orders
Assist clients/customers with testing availability for requests that are not located in our TCM
Manages the Pre-Pay and Prior Authorization Doctor Audit in Apollo which also includes maintaining the PPPA storage racks
Perform Referral Processor duties as needed
Investigate account correction forms completed by Referral Processors for accuracy and report out with the correct code
Practice strict adherence to standard operating procedures
Perform other duties as assigned

All you need is:

High school degree or GED required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent computer data entry experience required
Minimum two-years previous experience in laboratory preferred
Must be able to past skills test
