Short Description
- The Director of Research Compliance and Privacy is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and privacy protections across all research activities.
- This role ensures adherence to federal state and institutional regulationsincluding HIPAA the Common Rule and other applicable research protections.
- The Director leads research billing audits conducts investigations and develops training programs to foster a culture of research integrity and accountability.
- This position collaborates closely with the Office of Research & Sponsored Programs (ORSP) and other corporate departments to ensure ethical conduct data security privacy and risk mitigation.
- The Director also leads or supports institutional committees and initiatives related to research compliance and privacy and may function as a designated official/officer within research compliance and privacy policies.

Experience Required
Bachelors degree required. Masters degree preferred.
Education Requirements
3-5 years required. 6-10 years preferred.
License/Certification Requirements
Certification in healthcare research compliance and privacy compliance required within 18 months of hire required.
Clinical licensure preferred.
