We are looking for an Accounts Executive for Mumbai location to join our company.
In Wilhelmsen Port Services we provide our customers with peace of mind while we handle their cargo their vessels and their crew. We handle 75000 port calls per year which means that every 7 minutes anywhere around the world we send a ship safely out to sea again to fulfil its purpose. We match local expertise with strict global standards making sure we consistently make our customers port calls as efficient and safe as possible.
Who you are:
Detail-oriented and accurate professional thriving in dynamic international environments. With strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset adept at preparing and finalising Disbursement Accounts (DA) processing vendor invoices according to tax and accounting standards and maintaining accurate financial records. All entries are posted and archived properly supporting efficient DA production and queries from customers and internal partners are resolved promptly. Commitment to high quality standards and procedures is matched by the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work effectively with teams to solve diverse challenges.
What you will be doing:
- Prepare finalize and submit Disbursement Accounts (DA) within set guidelines and KPIs.
- Retrieve process & post vendor invoices received into the companys system by applying correct countrys tax account and service codes.
- Ensure all posted vendor invoices are uploaded in company system and archived properly in shared.
- Ensure all DAs service lines are posted vouchers are mapped and uploaded in the system.
- Responsible for ensuring high accuracy of data input into the system and optimized DA production efficiencies according to the productivity target/matrix.
- Assist customers and port staffs with timely resolution of Final Disbursement Accounts (FDA) related issue/claim emails (under supervision of seniors/Team Leaders if higher complexities involved).
- Monitor/follow-up timely receipt of vendor invoices with port staffs by running weekly DA ageing report.
- Provide assistance when required to other internal partners (ie: Local Agents Credit Controller Finance etc.).
- Ensuring the Company quality standards and procedures are followed.
- Provide backup support to fellow team members when they are on leave and cross-team backup.
- Ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Manager or Team Leader.
- Account reconciliations and project accounts.
Required experience and skills:
- Graduates with minimum 3 years of experience.
- Excellent communication skills. Must be fluent in English verbal and written.
- Process and system understanding.
- Self-motivated and result orientated.
- Proactive and possesses ability to anticipate issue to facilitate preventive measures.
- Exhibit strong sense of responsibility and willingness to go the extra miles.
- Able to work under pressure and independently with minimum supervision.
- Ability to organize & coordinate work with strong attention to details and the ability to multi-task.
- Able to process high volume accounts with high accuracy and able to complete assigned tasks within the stipulated deadlines and KPI set by the management.
- Analytical skills and a problem solver.
- Team player.
- Able to start immediately / short notice will be preferred.
