Job Summary
Would you like a rewarding part-time role as a KS1 Teacher in Kingston with full involvement in planning and CPD from January 2026 This KS1 Teacher post begins January 2026 and is ideal for a focused practitioner who wants concentrated contact time but remains part of the KS1 leadership and development. The KS1 Teacher will prepare resources before January 2026 attend induction in January 2026 and teach from January 2026.
A week in the life - KS1 Teacher
Mornings: the KS1 Teacher leads high-impact phonics shared reading and practical maths as the KS1 Teacher. Afternoons: the KS1 Teacher records observations plans next steps and liaises with families as the KS1 Teacher. On non-contact days the KS1 Teacher participates in moderation and CPD sessions scheduled to begin in January 2026.
KS1 Teacher Responsibilities
The KS1 Teacher will: plan sequenced learning and deliver systematic phonics as the KS1 Teacher; run small-group interventions as the KS1 Teacher; track progress and prepare transition packs as the KS1 Teacher. The KS1 Teacher will be ready to teach from January 2026 and actively participate in the life of the school.
KS1 Teacher Requirements
We are seeking a KS1 Teacher with QTS or equivalent secure KS1 knowledge and strong communication skills. The KS1 Teacher must be available for pre-term planning before January 2026 induction in January 2026 and to teach from January 2026 in a part-time capacity.
