Head of Technical Department ZITON

On behalf of ZITON MARPRO Group is looking for a Head of Technical Department.

ZITON is a specialized shipowner and operator focused on providing main component replacements and maintenance services in the offshore wind industry. With a fleet of 6 advanced jack-up vessels ZITON is the leading player in offshore wind service operations. Renowned for their technical expertise operational excellence and commitment to safety ZITON delivers innovative solutions that enhance the efficiency and reliability of offshore wind farms across Europe.

The job

On a daily basis you will oversee the Technical Department and refer to the COO. You will play a key role managing the department and making ready for sea in terms of regulatory and industry requirements as well as ZITON standards.

ZITON is proud of holding a strong retention rate onshore and offshore as well and you will lead a team of highly qualified Superintendents with years of in-house and/or industry experience.

Professional qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Marine Engineering
• Proven experience in fleet management and vessel maintenance
• Knowledge of maritime regulations and compliance
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Language skills: Fluent read/write in Danish and English
• Ability to attend the office in Horsens
