Job Title: Application Support Engineer
Location: Boston MA (Remote)
Duration: 12 Months

Responsibilities: - Monitor and triage jobs system integrations and application processes.
- Manage user access and requests for complex or sensitive systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to resolve production issues.
- Triage and manage both major and minor production incidents.
- Monitor and manage support queues efficiently.
- Document the status and resolution of incidents requests and problems.
- Gather and analyze data to support audit and regulatory activities.
- Work closely with application development teams to recommend enhancements and improvements.
- Support system patching maintenance and full application lifecycle processes.
- Participate in organization-wide technology initiatives and projects.
- Research and respond to business and data inquiries.
- Assist with system access certifications basic reporting and automation efforts.
- Support production software release activities.
- Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing.
Required Technical Skills: - 4 5 years of experience in application support or a similar technical role.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities within a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Self-motivated and capable of driving issues to resolution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in the financial industry is a plus.
Additional Technical Skills: - Hands-on experience with Windows Desktop and Server administration.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft SQL.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python VBScript PowerShell).
- Familiarity with ETL tools and data pipelines (e.g. SSIS).
- Experience with BI tools such as Cognos or Tableau.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Snowflake AWS Microsoft Azure) is a plus.
- Understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies preferred.
- Experience supporting large data-gathering or web-scraping jobs.
