Job Summary

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP BI/BW Developer to design develop and optimize enterprise data warehouse and analytics solutions. This role is ideal for a seasoned SAP BW/BI professional who can work closely with business and technical teams to deliver scalable reporting data modeling and performance-optimized BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop enhance and support end-to-end SAP BI/BW solutions.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior BI/BW team members.

Lead and execute BI performance optimization efforts across the SAP data landscape.

Collaborate with business stakeholders SAP functional teams and IT to build and maintain operational data stores and enterprise data warehouse components.

Partner with Basis teams on system upgrades support packs and performance tuning activities.

Analyze business processes and translate functional requirements into robust technical specifications.

Develop and execute test scenarios technical documentation and end-user support materials.

Continually evaluate and implement improvements tools and best practices within the BI/BW environment.

Follow established SDLC methodologies governance standards and organizational policies.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.

5 years of hands-on SAP BW/BI development experience including data modeling reporting analytics and data warehousing.

Strong proficiency with SAP BW 7.x SAP ECC 6.0 integration SAP HANA BEx 7.x and related SAP BI tools.

2 3 full lifecycle SAP BW implementations completed.

Advanced experience with BW data objects extractors (standard & custom) and SAP end-to-end data flows.

Expertise in BEx Query Designer Analysis for Office BEx Workbooks and Broadcasting.

Strong ABAP development skills and experience with Web Services.

Experience building SAP HANA Calculation Views and SQL Script (preferred).

In-depth understanding of data warehousing principles and BI best practices.

Excellent communication documentation and stakeholder interaction skills.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid skills with other MS Office applications.
