Job Responsibilities:
- Lead cybersecurity testing efforts for automotive ECUs gateways and communication interfaces.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies aligned with ISO/SAE 21434 and UNECE WP.29.
- Conduct advanced penetration testing fuzzing and vulnerability assessments on embedded systems.
- Validate secure boot secure firmware updates and cryptographic implementations.
- Simulate real-world attack scenarios using tools like CANoe Wireshark Metasploit and custom scripts.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity architects software developers and system engineers to close security gaps.
- Review and improve test automation frameworks for continuous security validation.
- Document test results risk assessments and mitigation plan with traceability to requirements.
- Understand software architecture and hardware to ramp up quickly and take ownership of the complete end-to-end testing perspective covering functional stability and stress tests.
- Write execute and maintain test cases based on architecture elements and requirements ensuring all relevant scenarios (including exploratory tests) are covered after every release.
- Work closely with architects engineers designers testers and managers in multiple locations to ensure successful integration and testing across the system.
- Automate test cases using Python enhancing testing efficiency coverage and repeatability.
- Perform detailed analysis of reported problems bugs and defects. Track issues verify bug fixes and ensure that all issues are addressed effectively to maintain high-quality standards.
- Ensure KPIs defined by leadership are consistently achieved through rigorous testing and performance tracking.
- Experience in cybersecurity testing with automotive domain.
- Strong hands-on experience with embedded systems automotive protocols (CAN LIN Ethernet) and RTOS (e.g. QNX AUTOSAR).
- Proficiency in threat modeling secure coding practices and cryptographic standards.
- Expertise in using cybersecurity tools (e.g. Kali Linux Burp Suite CANoe IDA Pro Wireshark).
- Familiarity with ISO/SAE 21434 ASPICE and UNECE WP.29 compliance requirements.
- Experience in the development and execution of Software Integration Test (SWIT) and System Integration Test (SIT).
- Ability to interpret hardware schematics and software design documents.
- Hands-on experience in translating UML-based sequence diagrams into test cases for embedded systems.
- Strong experience with embedded software and hardware debugging tools.
- Technical Expertise:
- Experience with HiL/SiL/MiL (Hardware-in-the-Loop Software-in-the-Loop Model-in-the-Loop) testing.
- Hands-on experience with Python for test automation and scripting.
- Familiarity with requirement management tools such as DOORS and DNG.
- Good understanding of CAN/LIN Communication Protocols and UDS Diagnostics Protocol.
- Additional Skills:
- Experience working on projects practicing ASPICE standards and processes.
- Exposure to Machine Learning concepts is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a self-motivated result-driven attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications:
- ISTQB or equivalent software testing certification is a plus.
