Description:

Our client is looking for a Network Engineer to be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining complex network infrastructure. This role requires advanced expertise in networking technologies and the ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff.

Tasks

  • Design and architect enterprise-level network solutions including LAN WAN wireless and data center networks Implement and configure advanced routing and switching protocols (BGP OSPF EIGRP MPLS) Deploy and manage network security solutions including firewalls VPNs IDS/IPS systems Plan and execute network upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime
  • Monitor network performance and optimize for reliability speed and security Troubleshoot complex network issues and perform root cause analysis Maintain network documentation including diagrams configurations and standard operating procedures Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with service providers
  • Implement network security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards Conduct network security assessments and vulnerability testing Respond to security incidents and implement remediation measures Stay current with emerging security threats and mitigation strategies
  • Lead network infrastructure projects from conception to completion Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior network engineers Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems security and application teams

Skills Required

5 years of experience in the following:

  • Advanced Bridging and routing integration technologies experience
  • Experience troubleshooting LANs WANs and wireless
  • Experience with Firewall ACLs business to business access Remote access
  • Experience with Network design
  • Bachelors Degree in a related field

Skills Desired

  • Experience with Network monitoring and reporting
  • Experience with Security tools log analysis
  • Experience with VoIP
