Role Overview

The Site Engineer / Project Executive will oversee day-to-day site execution activities for the progress and completion of interior projects.
This role demands efficiency in handling vendors and labor ensuring design adherence quality and safety at a micro level.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and execute interior works at the site as per approved drawings and specifications.
Coordinate with interior designers architects contractors and vendors to ensure timely project delivery.
Monitor and manage site labor materials and daily work progress.
Ensure all site activities are carried out in adherence to safety quality and compliance standards.
Review and interpret technical drawings schedules and specifications.
Maintain daily site reports work schedules and progress tracking.
Handle site measurements and material calculations.
Assist in procurement planning and follow-ups with suppliers.
Provide technical input and suggest improvements for better efficiency and quality.
Resolve on-site technical issues and escalate when necessary.

Expertise and Qualifications

Bachelors / Diploma in Civil Engineering Interior Design or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in interior fit-out or site execution.
Good understanding of interior finishes (carpentry false ceiling electrical plumbing painting etc.).
Ability to read and interpret architectural/interior design drawings.
Proficiency in AutoCAD MS Project or similar tools (preferred).
Excellent communication coordination and problem-solving skills.
Strong time management and teamwork abilities.
Experience in residential commercial or hospitality interior projects.
Knowledge of local vendors materials and contractors in Chennai.
Fluency in Tamil and English (Hindi is a plus).
Flexibility to travel across project sites in and around Chennai.
