Senior Specialist Recruitment Consultant

- 5 years experience in data development and business intelligence
- Strong SQL Server skills (SQL T-SQL SSIS and SSRS)
- Proven expertise in Power BI (DAX Power Query and dashboard/report design)
- Hands-on experience building cloud data solutions in Microsoft Azure (Azure Data Factory Azure Synapse Azure SQL Database and Azure Analysis Services)
- Strong understanding of data modelling ETL workflows and performance tuning
- Able to work effectively in a collaborative customer-facing environment
- Experience working in Agile development teams (e.g. Jira and Confluence)
- Willingness to travel periodically for customer meetings
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (advantageous):
- Azure Data Engineer Associate
- Power BI Data Analyst Associate
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred)
- Microsoft Fabric or other cloud platforms (Google BigQuery Snowflake and AWS)
- Advanced analytics or machine learning exposure
- Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills
Responsibilities:
- Architect design and deliver BI solutions using Microsoft Azure and Power BI
- Develop robust data pipelines transformations integrations and models
- Engage with customers to gather requirements and turn data into actionable insights
- Lead and support junior team members in best-practice data delivery
- Optimise workflows for performance governance and scalability
- Contribute to cloud adoption modernisation and automation initiatives
- Ensure a high standard of quality reliability and documentation
- Stay current with evolving Microsoft technologies and leverage new features
