Job Summary

A dynamic chemicals and coatings company is seeking a Junior Laboratory Technician to support quality control research and product development in a fast-paced laboratory environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented analytical and motivated to contribute to laboratory operations.

Responsibilities:

Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests and analyses on paint and coating samples
Assist in quality control processes to ensure products meet defined standards
Prepare label and maintain chemical samples and reagents
Record and document test results accurately and maintain laboratory logs
Support senior laboratory staff with experimental setups and research projects
Maintain and operate laboratory equipment safely and efficiently
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency
Follow health safety and environmental protocols in all laboratory activities

Requirements:

BSc degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g. Chemistry Life Sciences Microbiology)
Previous laboratory experience or internship preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and procedures
