City of Newcastle (CN) is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic engineer to join our Stormwater team and assist in the delivery of core stormwater infrastructure service for CN. This is a full-time temporary opportunity until February 2027. Here your ideas and efforts directly shape the places where you and your community live work and play.

As our Engineering Officer Stormwater you will be inspecting investigating and assessing the Citys stormwater assets and supporting the development of maintenance renewal and upgrade programs. You will contribute to asset management systems assist with the delivery of capital works and maintenance programs help develop and apply technical standards and provide specialist advice on stormwater matters.

A key part of the role is investigating and resolving customer and community issues relating to drainage and flood management while working closely with Asset Engineers to ensure sustainable resilient and compliant outcomes for the Citys stormwater network.

Remuneration: $107672.94 17.5% annual leave loading yearly payment 12% Superannuation per annum for a 35-hour week
