Responsibilities / Tasks

This role provides end-to-end administrative and commercial support to GPUKs After-Sales & Service business. It is responsible for managing customer enquiries from initial contact through to quotation order processing documentation and invoicing.

You will work closely with customers internal teams and overseas GEA business units on a daily basis ensuring accurate information flow and the delivery of a timely professional service. There may occasionally be a requirement for overseas travel.

  • Manage After-Sales and Service administration workflows from enquiry through to completion.

  • Prepare accurate quotations for UK customers and intercompany quotations for overseas GEA units applying the correct commercial terms margins and discounts.

  • Co-ordinate the processing of purchase orders order confirmations and invoicing activity in line with company standards.

  • Source and procure spare parts and service requirements as instructed ensuring timely fulfilment and traceability.

  • Process inbound invoices from overseas GEA group companies and ensure alignment against approved orders.

  • Maintain up-to-date customer order and service information within GEA systems and databases.

  • Handle customer queries and complaints professionally ensuring resolution and escalation where required.

  • Support the Sales team with quotation data pricing information and general customer enquiry handling.

  • Maintain professional relationships and effective communication channels with key overseas GEA stakeholders.

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years experience in an After-Sales or Service operations environment.

  • Strong interpersonal and customer communication skills including confident telephone manner.

  • IT literate proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Good knowledge of CRM & SAP or similar ERP system preferred.

  • RSA Qualifications in Typing preferred.

  • Understanding of engineering principles and technical terminology desirable
