ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Review documentation / work orders check paperwork

Set up and prepare product for shipping

Move product in/around the facility & reel yard Build cradles Prepare product: weigh wrap document / check documents and load and unload trucks

Operate variety of vehicles inside and outside of building

Organize fill and replace fork truck propane cylinders.

Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements

Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place

Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control

Communicate with supervisors/managers and lead operators

Perform other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND ABILITIES QUALIFICATIONS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience working in shipping and receiving or similar position

Experience in operating forklifts

Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data (axiom a plus)

Basic understanding of health and safety regulations

Basic math and recording abilities

Excellent organizational skills

Great communication and interpersonal abilities

Keen eye for detail
