Job Description:
The Mortgage Loan Shipper for Charter West Bank could be located at any of our LPO offices (Omaha Metro Lincoln Grand Island Columbus or Kearney) in Nebraska. The employee will be responsible for ensuring all mortgage loan files are accurately and efficiently packaged and shipped for delivery to investors. The Mortgage Loan Shipper will work closely with loan officers processors underwriters and post-closing departments to ensure timely and compliant delivery of mortgage loans to investors. This position requires attention to detail strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review mortgage loan files to verify accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and package mortgage loan files for delivery to investors
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather any missing or additional documentation
- Ensure compliance with all investor guidelines and regulations
- Track and report on the status of mortgage loan shipments
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in mortgage loan shipping or related mortgage lending operations but we are willing to train the right person with little or no experience
- Strong understanding of investor guidelines and regulations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
