WORK SHIFT SCHEDULE:
This is a rotating 12-hour work shift - 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
NOTE: The seasonal nature of our business often requires working overtime. Therefore hours may fluctuate due to business necessity and meeting operational needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of electric or gas powered forklifts to and from various departments.
- Unload load transfer and stack brite or finished goods and supplies from trucks etc.
- Interpret shipping order or receiving report to determine item to be (un)loaded.
- Ability to stack and unstack pallets of products in rows and up to 5 high.
- Check product for quality and proper shipping information.
- Daily inspection of vehicle before operating corrects any low fluid levels.
- Track input change and update data of inventory.
- Complies with proper weight distribution on rail cars and trucks.
- Ensure that GMPs (General manufacturing Practices) safety rules and regulations are being followed and enforced
- Maintains general houskeeping.
- All other duties assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to :
- Work 12-hour scheduled shifts
- Read and write the English language
- Pass the Seneca Forklift certification test.
- Basic knowledge of Forklifts.
- Goodwritten and oral communication skills.
- Requires good judgement and decision making skills.
- 1 - 3 months of previous forklift experience helpful but not necessary.
Wage range based on skills abilities and experience from $19.50 to $31.50/hour
