Job Summary

Position Title: Warehouse Associate I

Location: Hawthorne CA 90250
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (4 months )
Shift Timing: Morning shift between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM Weekend availability
NB. 12 hours per day

Job Responsibilities

Receiving shipments from the Dispatch department and assuring their correct handling by:
- Coordinating with Dispatch the receiving of inbound shipments
- Verifying required shipment documentation
- Preparing master airway bills for both domestic and international shipments
- Assemble ready-for-use packaging systems for pick ups
- Booking shipments as required by carrier
- Cold chain management of shipments in all temperature ranges
Professional demeanor.
Mastery of skills required as Operations Level 1
Filing SEDs for regulated exports
Create shipment documentation as necessary
Mastery of international airlines rates and service restrictions
Follow WorldStar sending instructions and action requests in a timely fashion

Experience and Educational Requirements

Demonstrate operational efficiency and shipment processing accuracy
Proficiency in required WorldSTAR screens and other World Courier systems
Full understanding of Cold Chain Management

Level 2 Temporary Associate Requirements

Airline experience preferred
Cold chain logistics experience ideal
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Background in import/export
Morning shift availability (between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM)
Weekend availability
